For those new to Once Human, Scenarios is a feature which defines major aspects of gameplay. While it defines the activities of a Season, it's worth noting that Scenarios are not Seasons. While a Season is the one that defines a timeline for events, Scenarios are those that define the overall theme of the Season.
Full Map Access
In Endless Dream, all existing regions are accessible in Phase I. Players can explore Nalcott in its entirety from the start. That means areas like the southern Broken Delta and all the way to the Ember Strand in the north.
Dream Zones
There's going to be layers of nested Dream Zones that encroach upon the wilderness. Each one features unique environmental traits and combat effects. As players head deeper into the nightmares, their effects stack and multiply.
As a Meta-Human, the mission of the players is to purify these layered zones and reshape the environment and its rules. The thing is that construction is possible inside Dream Zones even when there's no Territory Terminal. This results in players releasing their creativity and overcoming the nightmare by any means possible.
Player-Driven Progress
Dream Zones and Deviants evolve as the scenario progresses which present those ever-changing challenges. As Meta-Humans eliminate Eternal Dreamers, they'll reduce the durations of Phases I to V. It then results in intensifying the pace and difficulty of the scenario.
The collective efforts of the players to purge the Eternal Dreamers decide the world's fate. Ultimately the outcome rests entirely in the hands of everyone.
Ready to face the nightmare? The new update also opens up a RaidZone and signals the start of the Starfall Inversion. Read more about what the latest update brings to the game here.
