The latest paid story expansion for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is now live. Titled as "Brushes with Death," it is the first of three narrative expansions. It's available for $5.99 and free for those who have the Gold Edition or Expansion Pass.
Brushes with Death introduces a new storyline which has Henry helping a mysterious artist uncover his enigmatic past. A series of quests are made available which spans both maps of the game. To help his friend complete the most important painting of his life. Henry needs to find, persuade, and sometimes even eliminate, familiar and unfamiliar characters.
Brushes with Death also features new and unique features that can help players in visually modifying their shield. They can choose from a wide range of patterns and colors to showcase their choosing from a variety of patterns and colors to reflect your personal style with Shield Painting.
New Update
This new expansion arrives to the game along with the free 1.3 update. It brings with it your usual quality of life improvements and bug fixes.
However, it also introduces new features, one of which is Horse Racing. Get ready to saddle up and take on two new in-game challenges which focus on horse racing. These horse racing contests have players compete against three opponents through a series of routes and difficulties designed to push their horse-handling skills to the limit. There are also three new quests related to horse racing which are Horses for Courses, Racing Horseshoes, and The Executioner's Edge.
The new update also adds mounted archery to the game. In this one, players are tested on their observation skills, accuracy, and intuition, through archery contests. It's not going to be that easy since they'll be riding along a premade course while shooting targets from horseback.
