Three New Events Launched in MapleStory

A series of events has been launched and now available in MapleStory. There are three such events and today we'll take a look at each one.

One of these is the Watch [Althea Saga] Episode 2 Video which started April 29 and ends June 10. To be part of the event, players need to be at least Lv. 200. Once they meet this requirement they'll need to check out Episode 2 by choosing "[Althea Saga] Watch Episode 2" from the Event List. Once they're done watching the video, the Receive Gift Menu should be accessible in the viewing menu where they can then claim their gifts.

Rewards include the Mapae Nodestone x5 and Althea Transformation Potion x1.

Hit the Road

Then there's the Hit the Road event which is from May 28 to June 24. Players need to be at least Lv. 101 with zero characters that completed Story Quest Act 2. To participate they'll need to talk to Ms. Song and complete the [Hit the Road] Precursor Event. After that it should unlock the Hit The Road UI.

Players then need to defeat 1,000 monsters within their level range, which is 20 levels below and 20 levels above. They then have to click the "Participate" button to receive attendance rewards and Participation Gift rewards based on the amount of times they've participated in the event. Note that each participation can be completed once a day and participation records are shared between all characters per account. The Participation button resets every day at a certain time. In addition, monster defeats only count when in a solo party or not in a party at all.

Sunny Sunday

This one is pretty straightforward with players needing to log in each Sunday during the event duration to enjoy various perks. The requirement is for a character to be at least Lv. 101.

The first set of rewards arrive on May 4 which are:

• 30% off Star Force enhancements

• 50% off Spell Trace enhancements

• +250% Monster Park EXP

• Victoria Cup Homecoming Mission

The final day is June 8 with rewards that include:

• 2x EXP for Pollo, Fritto, and Especia Bounty Hunting

• 2x Inferno Wolf Exit EXP

• 2x chance for new Monster Collection monsters

• Monster Collection Mysterious Monsterbloom x3
